De nuestra experiencia personal, Pereira, la ciudad en sí, no es donde priorizamos nuestro tiempo. Tienes un centro comercial - Arboleda - así como algunos restaurantes y rooftops (Zelva), pero recomendamos pasar tu tiempo afuera de la ciudad para obtener la experiencia de viaje más única.

- The airport is centrally located with very easy transportation. We recommend using a yellow taxi in the official taxi line - as with any other city, avoid non-official taxis. You will have to pay in COL cash, please plan ahead or use an ATM in the airport.

From our personal experience, Pereira the city itself is not where we prioritize our time. You have a big modern mall- Arboleda- as well as some cool restaurants and rooftops (Zelva), but we recommend spending your time in the country side to get the most unique travel experience.

Just west of Pereira and where you will find most of our recommended hotels as well as some nice strip malls with food and coffee shops that are quick 5-10min Uber rides. 15-20 min from airport.

- Hotel hermano de Sazagua Pereira, esta ubicación cuenta con un excelente restaurante y hermosas experiencias como paseos en mula por las montañas, mixología con frutas locales, degustaciones de aguardiente, elaboración de queso y más. Nosotros hicimos el paseo en mula y lo SUPER recomendamos! Aproximadamente a 1 hora y 10 minutos en coche del área de hoteles en Cerritos.

- Sister hotel to Sazagua Pereira, this location hosts a great restaurant and beautiful experiences like mule ride through mountains, mixology with local fuits, aguardiente tastings, cheese making and more! We did the mule ride and STRONGLY recommend it. Approx 1 hour 10 min drive from Cerritos Hotel area.

- If you love nature and relaxation, visit these natural hot springs. We have opted to visit the private hotel and pay for a day pass (~USD$20-$30)instead of visiting the public hot springs that get a bit more crowded. The hotel also has a great spa and restaurant that serves a great bandeja paisa.

- Si amas la naturaleza y la relajación, visita estas termales naturales. Hemos optado por visitar el hotel privado y pagar un pasadía ($92.000-$112.000 COP) en lugar de visitar los baños termales públicos que se llenan un poco más.
